Cancellation Policy
Money-Sense is a monthly subscription. You, or we, may end it by giving one calendar month's notice.
1. How to cancel
Send your notice by email to tyron@money-sense.co.za from the email address on your account, or tell us the mobile number on your account. Employers should send notice from the contact person's email address. We confirm within 2 business days.
2. When it takes effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice month, counted from the day we receive your notice. You pay for the notice month and keep full access during it. After that, no further payments are taken and the recurring payment on PayFast is stopped.
3. What happens afterwards
- Employer access for staff is paused when the notice period ends. Staff keep their own personal accounts and saved budgets and can continue privately.
- An individual's account and saved budgets are kept until you ask us to delete them.
- You can ask us at any time to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy).
4. If a payment is missed
Access is paused until the account is brought up to date. This is not a cancellation. Nothing is deleted while access is paused.
5. If we end the service
We will give at least one calendar month's notice, stop payments from the end of that period and refund any amount you have paid for a period after it.
6. Free access
The public budget check and free tools do not need a subscription. There is nothing to cancel.
